Yes, this service is currently available for all our languages excluding German. We upgrade our website once a day and, if a book is in the catalogue, it is usually available at our bookshop. However, since we normally don't stock more than one or few copies of the same title, it might happen that we have just sold the last copy of a book. If you want to make sure that a book is available, please contact us by e-mail (you can use the button "send a request" located above the description of each book).

Yes. You can order any book available in Britain, United States, Spain, France, Germany or Russia.

For American titles, it takes 7-10 days. For British titles, it can take from 2 to 20 days. When you place your order we will tell you when our next delivery from Britain is expected.

We don't charge any fee for special orders in Britain, United States, Spain or France: you will pay for your book as much as you would if the book was already in stock (see next question: On which basis do you set your prices?).

If you place an order, we will ask you to pay a deposit.

There are two categories of books: books imported by us and books we buy from importers. If a book is imported by us, we convert into euros its jacket price (which is valid in the U.K.) and we add the amount we spend on delivery and other expenses.

As a result, in our bookshop a British book costs usually 10% more than in the U.K; for American titles, our conversion rate is currently 1 US$ = 1 euro (it means that a book that costs 8 dollars in the U.S. will cost 8 euros here). If there is a special offer prices can be lower than in its country of origin; on the contrary, if a book is very heavy (like some children books) it can be more expensive, due to higher delivery costs.

If we buy a book from an importer, the price is set by them and not by us. Sometimes it is lower than in Britain/USA: for several titles British and American publishers sell a special export edition, which is less expensive than the U.K. or USA edition and is only available in other countries. As a general rule, we buy from importers only when their retail price is lower than the price we would set importing the same book from Britain/USA.

You won't be able to buy a book on your own using this website, but you can contact us by email (you can also use the button "send a request" located above the description of each book). If we receive your message during our opening hours, we will reply in a short time, usually less than an hour, and we will confirm availability. Then, you will be able to buy the book (see next question).

Delivery costs by TNT courier (24/48 hrs) to Italian addresses are:

For orders below 30,00 euros (excluding shipping): euro 8,90

For orders from 30,00 to 60,00 euros (excluding shipping): euro 7,90

For orders from 60,00 to 100,00 euros (excluding shipping): euro 5,90

For orders above 100,00 euros (excluding shipping): complimentary

Corriere espresso to Calabria, Sicily or Sardinia: EUR 10,90 (for all orders).
